WHY A LIMETREE BRIDGE II?

The Limetree BRIDGE II is a high-quality network adapter—also known as an audio renderer—that streams music from streaming services and local storage in studio master quality, digitally transmitting it to existing D/A converters or other devices with digital inputs. This makes it easy and affordable to upgrade an existing hi-fi system for streaming. LINDEMANN customers with legacy devices such as the 820S or 825 will particularly benefit, but of course the BRIDGE II is also ideal for anyone with a DAC or a CD player with digital input.

The Limetree BRIDGE II connects easily to your network via LAN cable or wirelessly via Wi-Fi. It also features a USB port for connecting hard drives or USB storage devices. There is both an optical and a coaxial digital output. A professional-grade sample rate converter from studio technology ensures that all streamed formats can be played back on your existing DAC without any loss in sound quality.

The Limetree BRIDGE II circuitry is optimized for best signal quality around its powerful streaming platform. All music files are re-synchronized using a high-precision femto clock and a studio-grade sample rate converter. The processed data is free from jitter—one of the main causes of poor digital audio. The particularly stable digital signal of the BRIDGE II even leads to an audible improvement in sound quality on many older D/A converters!
